After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Ng attended optometry school at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, and thereafter, completed a residency in Primary Eye Care. She is therapeutically certified by the state of California to diagnose, manage, and treat various conditions and diseases of the eye.
Dr. Ng has experience in specialty contact lens fitting. She has provided care to patients with atypical corneas, including cases of keratoconus, post corneal transplant, and post refractive surgery, by fitting these patients with specialty contact lenses in order to improve their vision and overall quality of life. Dr. Ng is experienced in fitting toric, multifocal, spherical, and gas permeable contact lenses.
Dr. Ng is a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association, a member of the California Optometric Association, and a member of the San Francisco Optometric Society. Dr. Ng served as a Clinical Examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, was a clinical instructor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, and also served on the Board of the San Francisco Optometric Society.
Dr. Ng is a native San Franciscan and has provided quality care to her patients in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2002. In her free time, Dr. Ng enjoys cooking, watching TV/movies, running, trying new restaurants, being an aunt to her adorable nephew, and spending time with family and friends.
